At Cooper River Baptist Church, we believe that life is complicated, but the Gospel is simple. We want our church to reflect this reality. We strive for excellence in all things yet believe the worship gatherings, community, and ministries should reflect the simplicity of the Gospel. We desire to cultivate a place where God's people find rest and are renewed. Then, as a result, God's people are empowered to do the work of the ministry in whatever circumstances they find themselves in throughout the week.

"We believe that no man can serve two masters." We will either serve the "master of church growth/organization building" or the Gospel, but we cannot do both.
We aim to raise up, train disciples, and release them to serve. Our long-term vision is to send the equipped to struggling and dying churches in Park Circle and greater Charleston. We want to be part of revitalizing churches so that not a single Gospel footprint is lost in our communities. We want God to be glorified and our name to be forgotten.
